How It All Started
My journey began with the arrival of my daughter, Maria.
Like every parent, I wanted to create a magical nursery where she could dream, play, and grow. As a graphic designer, I couldn't settle for ordinary walls, so I painted them myself with colourful illustrations.
The room looked beautiful—but there was one problem.
As Maria grew, her room changed too. The painted walls were permanent, and every new idea meant repainting and redecorating the entire room.
That's when I discovered vinyl wall decals.
I fell in love with the idea that beautiful artwork could be applied in minutes, removed without damaging the walls, and replaced whenever a child's interests changed. Decorating suddenly became simple, creative, and fun.
That single discovery inspired the creation of DesignStickers.
A Pioneer in Ukraine
I live in Ukraine, where I started making vinyl wall decals back in 2009.
At that time, wall decals were almost unknown here. We were among the very first companies to introduce them to the Ukrainian market.
What began as designs for friends and family quickly grew through word of mouth. More and more people asked me to create custom decals for their homes, and soon I opened my first online shop.
Since then, we've designed thousands of products that have found homes all over the world.
